Say hello to Phil!
Phil is the best 90 pound lap dog you’ll ever meet! He’s a 4 year old lab/shepherd mix so he’s full of energy.
He loves being outside; camping, running, playing fetch, or just riding in the car. He is absolutely a people dog – he loves them and is a great guard dog!
Don’t be surprised when he wants to snuggle on the couch with everyone. Phil is extremely smart and knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, leave it, and shake.
Phil is available to adopt from this month’s sponsored non profit, Lucky Tales Rescue (https://www.luckytalesrescue.org/), a rapidly growing 501 (c)(3) tax exempt rescue based in Kentucky and established in 2015.
With love and determination Lucky Tales ensures proper placement by matching animals with appropriate forever homes and helping the animals on the road to an amazing new journey.
Items they could use:
- Dog Food: Puppy and adult variety. Earthborn, 4Health, Canidae, California Naturals, Wellness, Zignature, and Acana.
- Kitten food (petsmart brands, wellness, iams)
- Toys (dog and cat)
- Crates (all sizes)Collars–especially martingale collars
- Leashes
- Fleece blankets/bed sheets for crates and for mom and puppies!
- Flea meds: capstart, frontline or revolution only;
- Heartworm meds: heartguard only
- Paper towels
Donations can be dropped off all month long at the city building, 24/7. There is a marked barrel right when you walk in!
